Long Distance with Sundae
Since March this year, we already sent Sundae to my parents in Lopez, Quezon. We were traumatized for the last nanny we got. She's from Bataan and was referred by my brother-in-law, he said this girl looks after her younger siblings, so she knows how to take care of our Sundae. She came on January 26, during that time, it was Daddy Dang's cousin, Ate Mica, who looks after our Sundae.
Sundae looks good then, she was very healthy. Ate Mica never fails to give her vitamins and eat at the right time. But she is about to leave also for Saudi that's why we need another nanny.
We told her everything she needs to do with our Sundae, Ate Mica is also guiding her. Until Ate Mica left, we always remind her what to do before we left the house for work. However, as days go by it's as if it is always her first day in the house. She let Sundae stay too close on the TV, she can't see it because she's busy texting.
I also notice that Sundae keeps on scratching her head. Then this time, Daddy asked her (nanny) if she has lice she never lied, she has. I look at her head and to my surprise! That is toooooo many! Too late for us that our Sundae got it as well!
She said she will go home on her mother's birthday, I never stopped her and that is also the time that we decided to send Sundae to my Nanay.
As of now, Sundae is already going to school as nursery again, but this time it's for real.
I was able to spent more time with her, however, I can't take care of her, I can't bathe her, carry her, everything that needs two arms. I can only help her with her lessons.
I left on June 23 after my 1 month leave, actually the doctor told me to rest for 2 months but, I feel I can go to work since I only have to do some calls and check account of our clients.
My last visit was July 25-29, treat her to Jollibee and bring her to SM Lucena with Nanay and her cousin Sam. We also met my elder brother and her family there.
We prefer to sent Sundae to my parents assured that she is doing well there than staying with and leaving her with a nanny that we are not sure how she was.

Money Saving Tips
Here's a money saving tip I received from Cosmo.ph e-newsletter which I really agreed since I myself tried this tips and it really works.
"A penny saved is a penny earned" is an adage we have heard countless times not only from our parents but from our peers as well. But how can you save when you live from paycheck to paycheck? Here are a few tips you can follow to help stretch your money and to provide yourself with a few months’ worth of financial buffer.
Save BEFORE you spend. Most people only save whatever money they have left, which is usually…not much, if they even do have any. So as soon as payday comes around, remove a certain amount from your paycheck and deposit it immediately in an untouchable yet accessible account. If you haven’t started saving before, then you can start low, by saving at least five to ten percent of your take-home pay. Then once you’ve adjusted, increase this amount by another five percent or so. Be sure to do this automatically every month. If it’s possible to arrange with your bank to auto-deduct from your payroll account to a separate savings account, then have this fixed immediately.
Live within your means. This is easier said than done, especially when you’re a young professional. It’s difficult to say "no" to the lure of mall-wide sales, Friday night drinking with your buddies, or regular movie-and-dinner dates with your guy. But if it’s beyond your budget, you simply have to try and say that two-letter word.
Make a budget…and stick to it! Take time to sit and really think about where your money goes. Take a typical week and list all your expenses then—including those purchases you deem trivial. Sometimes, it’s those little things that add up to take a chunk off your income. Maybe you like having bottled iced tea everyday for lunch. You think, it’s just P15, right? But if you multiply it by 22, the average number of working days per month, that’s easily P330. If you can’t do without it, try investing in a tumbler instead then make tea at home that you can bring to work. This goes for coffee as well. When you review a week’s worth of expenses, you’ll see where you can cut down.
Think at least twice before you spend. I’ve learned to not do the groceries when I’m hungry and to stay away from malls when I’m not feeling so good. Otherwise, I know I’ll only end up spending more, sometimes on things I don’t even need or want. If you find yourself liking a pair of shoes, go home and sleep on it. Think about it first, and visualize yourself wearing it with at least three sets of clothes. If you think you’ll be able to wear it often, then it’s a good buy—that is, considering how much money you can spare.
Set a goal. Save 3 times of your salary at the end of the year.

Single-Girl Things to Do Before You Marry
While meeting the man of your dreams opens plenty of doors, it shuts a few too. So fit these experiences in pronto, while you're still carat-free.
It doesn't matter if you're planning to tie the knot with your man in the next couple of years or if that trip down the aisle isn't even on your horizon. There are some things that you better indulge in now, because once you're hitched? Forget about it.
Date a guy who's totally wrong for you just because he has amazing abs. So what if he's five years younger and your polar opposite? The joy of running your hands across his six-pack is a perfectly legitimate reason to go out with him.
Collect at least six country stamps on your passport, including one from a place that until recently you didn't even know existed. Yes, it's fun to travel with your man, but you also have to have some solo adventures under your belt before you start sharing your life with him 100 percent.
Embrace feminine decor. Don't go so far as to paint the walls pink — that'll freak out any guy who sets foot in your place — but stock up on stuff that appeals to your girlie side. When you're building a nest with him, you'll have to compromise on furniture and accessories, so pile on cute throw pillows while the decorating is all up to you (because here's a tip: Guys hate the things).Wear a hip, fabulous ring on your left hand. Once you have an engagement band, you won't want anything detracting attention from the ring.
Take advantage of the whole bed. You have the rest of your life to stick to "your" side when you sleep next to your man. Right now, place your pillow smack-dab in the center and make like a starfish.
Spend an embarrassing amount of money on a designer bag you love or heels that make you feel incredibly sexy. Chances are, when you have a joint account with your hubby, he's not going to get why a purse might be worth the GDP of a small country.
Learn how to change a tire and work a drill. It's easy to relegate all those "guy" tasks to your man (and you totally should enlist his help), but there's a sense of power that comes with being able to fix something yourself.
Slip one of those furry covers on the toilet. Once it's there, he'll have to accept it (and psst, they make it impossible for men to leave the seat up).Throw blowout bashes. Sure, it's nice to have a mellow get-together with your girlfriends, but that shouldn't be the extent of your social life. Before settling down, let your wild side reign.
Get a grip on your dough. Sign up for a retirement plan and invest extra income in stocks or CD accounts. Take charge of your own cash flow before merging moola with your guy.
Have your dad take you out to dinner as often as possible. The reasons: It's great bonding time, and his open-wallet generosity will dry up once you're hitched. Face it: Your reception is the last meal that'll be his treat.
Hone a signature lingerie style. Figure out what cuts and colors are hottest on you, and develop a look that's all your own. That way, your one-day groom will follow your lead ... and not buy the polyester, so-small-you-could-floss- your-teeth-with-it teddy.
Want a cat? Heed this advice: Buy it now. Call it Snowflake. Let it sleep next to you in bed. If you wait to get a pet with your betrothed, it will end up being a big, slobbering Lab called Bif.
If all you feel like eating for dinner is ice cream and diet soda, buy a cone and pop a Coke. When you and The Mister mangia together all the time, you'll be less likely to indulge those bizarre — but oh-so-satisfying — cravings.
Use tons of hot water in the a.m.
Take your celeb crush to the max. Plaster a poster of Ryan Gosling in your hallway, and set your computer wallpaper to a topless shot of him.
Plan your fantasy wedding. Now's the time to let your imagination roam — rip pictures of dresses from magazines, size up ceremony venues, and try on some rocks at the jewelry store. This stuff wigs guys out if they witness it, so get it out of your system now.
Start a pleasure ritual that a change in your relationship status can't disturb. Regularly treat yourself to something you love, whether it's a manicure, yoga classes at the fanciest studio in town, or a superrelaxing massage.
Set up your home in a way that fits your needs. Maybe keeping the coffee machine in the bathroom so you can get your caffeine boost while you put on makeup in the morning works for you. Until you have to deal with someone else weighing in on your unusual arrangement, customize.
